Overview of Surgical and Non-Surgical Brow Lift in the Los Angeles Area
How Brow Lifts Work
The main difference between the different options for forehead lifting is the placement of the incision. The newest approach known as the “endoscopic surgery,” requires several small incisions that are placed behind the hairline, and a scope is utilized to assist during the procedure. If done properly, there are fewer side effects experienced – this includes a smaller risk of numbness and a faster recovery time.
Another technique uses longer incisions. This is done to lift the eyebrow and the location is determined by the specialist after a thorough assessment and discussion with the patient.
Aside from the usual benefits of raising the brow and smoothing the forehead, this can also lower the hairline, while improving facial balance and harmony. This procedure usually takes between 1-2 hours, and it’s usually done under twilight anesthesia or IV sedation.

Who are good Candidates for a Brow Procedure?
Patients who are looking for reliable solutions to addressing drooping eyebrows and forehead wrinkles would be good candidates for a brow lift.
For more context, those who belong in these categories are ideal candidates for brow lift surgery:
– Those who are physically healthy.
– Those who don’t smoke.
– Those who have realistic goals and a positive outlook in life.
As we age, wrinkle lines may appear on the forehead, and frown lines between the brows could make a person look “too serious” or even angry when they’re not. Skin relaxation can also cause the brows to drop, or hood the upper eyelids making the person look tired. For these people, a brow lift procedure may be ideal.

Choose a Surgeon You Trust
Brow lift surgery comes with several choices, and because of that, it’s very important to choose a licensed plastic surgeon to ensure your safety during and after the procedure. Dr. Nguyen is one of the best surgeons in Beverly Hills, and with his skills and expertise, you’ll be able to have a younger-looking face.
“Dr. Nguyen is a very kind person; He has a lot of patience. I had four surgeries with him and each one of them came out better than the other. I feel that Dr. Nguyen became more than a doctor to me, he became a friend and that is what makes it easy on each procedure.” – Adi M.
What to Expect After Brow Lift Surgery
After 10 days, the sutures will be removed. In situations where bandages have been used, these will be removed 1-3 days after the procedure. It’s very important to follow the advice of the medical practitioner closely to ensure a smooth recovery process. For most patients, the recovery time does not exceed two weeks, but it’s still recommended to stay away from strenuous activities during the recovery period. If you experience bruising, this can easily be concealed with the help of makeup.
Sometimes, a brow lift is combined with eyelid tucks (Blepharoplasty), or a facelift for a more harmonious rejuvenation.
Facial plastic surgery makes it possible to fix any facial flaw, as well as signs of premature aging. This can result in an increase in self-confidence and feeling of well-being.
HOW much does a BROW LIFT cost?
The cost of the brow lift will depend on several factors, all of which will be discussed when patients come in for a consultation. Factors that may influence price include anesthesia fees, specific brow lift techniques utilized, and total surgery time.

What are Dr. Nguyen’s Patients Saying?

Our Philosophy
We feel that the approach to facial plastic surgery by both patient and doctor should be a conservative one, and the result should appear natural and balanced.
There are several core philosophical principles that drive our practice. We feel that the approach to facial plastic surgery by both patient and doctor should be a conservative one. We feel that results should appear natural and balanced so that a patient looks like the best version of his or herself, not a bizarre approximation of someone else. We believe that the best outcomes are achieved when a patient and surgeon share a common objective and when there is consensus regarding aesthetic taste. We encourage a holistic approach to anti-aging because true youthfulness requires a combination of attitude, physical well being, as well as appearance.
While facial plastic surgery is often pursued to restore a youthful appearance, its results are most effective when a patient is vigilant about preserving mind, body, and spirit alike. Last, and perhaps most importantly, we believe that each of our patient’s needs is unique and that their course of treatment should reflect that of uniqueness. We strive to give the utmost in personalized care and service. From your first phone call to our office through your final follow-up visit, you will be given the time and attention needed to help you realize your individual aesthetic goals.
